British Hajj charity extends its prayers for a safe Hajj pilgrimage

Association of British Hujjaj (Pilgrims) ABH, a national Hajj pilgrimage specific organization working for the welfare and well-being of Hajj Umrah pilgrims, wishes a safe and blissful journey to over two million prospective Hajj pilgrims from around the world who are converging in the Holy City of Makkah to perform their pilgrimage.

Hajj pilgrimage, one of five pillars of Islam, is of great significance to Muslims. Millions of Muslims from all over the world gather in Makkah to perform the same rituals, at the same times, dressed similarly while standing together as equals. This makes Hajj pilgrimage a true reflection of the dignified principles of equality, modesty and human brotherhood that are at the heart of Islam. The diversity of Muslim pilgrims at Hajj is a true reflection of Islam’s cross-borders and cross-cultural nature. Hajj gives Muslims from all nations, races and countries with the opportunity to know each other better, to learn more about each other’s issues and concerns. This experience emphasizes the Islamic teachings of compassion, cooperation, tolerance and care for others.

Association of British Hujjaj (Pilgrims) UK also extended its gratitude to the kingdom of Saudi Arabia for their efforts towards the welfare and wellbeing of the pilgrims and in ensuring that the Hajj pilgrims performed their pilgrimage safely and peacefully with ease and comfort.

“Our sincere prayers and wishes go to all pilgrims from around the world, for a safe journey, successful and accepted Hajj as well as a safe return to their loved ones,” said Khalid Pervez, General Secretary of Association of British Hujjaj (Pilgrims) UK.
